Super Kernel Basmati Rice

Super Kernal Basmati Rice is one of the greater types of basmati rice grown primarily in the foothills of the Himalayas. With a long size, pointed edges and is easily known for its length, which is almost four times greater than its width. Uniformly slender long grains, pristine white luster and an unforgettable aroma have made Super Kernel Basmati a staple in almost every corner of the world.

Origination

Super Kernal Basmati Rice, a premium variety of basmati rice from Pakistan, is the most prized of the rice varieties all over the world. Since thousands of years Super Kernel Basmati is being cultivated in the foothills of the Himalayas with the rich snow fed water, scientists at the IARI, India, have cross bred Super Kernel Basmati and developed from it a type of rice, now known as ‘PUSA’.
